RoboCup France
What is RoboCup?
-
RoboCup is the largest international competition for robotics and artificial intelligence. It has set itself an ambitious goal: “by 2050, a team of autonomous humanoid robots will be able to challenge the human world champions in football, according to FIFA rules.”
-
RoboCup brings together researchers, students, teachers and young enthusiasts around technological and educational challenges: soccer, rescue, domestic and industrial robotics.
-
Much more than a competition, RoboCup is a scientific and human adventure that inspires future generations and advances robotics for the benefit of all.
-
France, a founding member of the competition, hosted the international edition in 1998 (in Paris) and 2023 (in Bordeaux).
