RoboCupJunior OnStage
RoboCupJunior OnStage invites teams to design, build, and program creative, autonomous physical robots. The goal is to create a robotic performance, live or streamed, using various technologies to captivate the audience. Performances can take many forms: dance, storytelling, theater, or art installations. Music is optional. The competition is open to all possibilities. Teams are encouraged to demonstrate creativity, innovation, and talent in both robot design and overall performance.

Teams are evaluated according to the following criteria: a technical description poster (TDP), a technical demonstration video, a technical interview, and OnStage performance.
OnStage Leagues
At the international level, there is only one competition category for OnStage.
However, in national and super-regional competitions, organizers may need to set up competitions specifically for younger participants:
-
OnStage Entry League, aimed at young people aged 10 to 13
-
Discovery (in France only), aimed at young people in preschool, first grade, second grade and third grade.
OnStage Entry
The OnStage Entry league is open to all teams composed solely of members who have not reached the minimum age required by the General Regulations (above).
The rules may vary from country to country or region to region.
The RoboCup Federation is offering a standardized version of the rules and official score sheets for the OnStage Entry competition to help unify practices.

Discovery (in France only)
The goal of this "league" is to allow toddlers to present to the public the robotics projects carried out in class.
The performance is unrestricted and not subject to ranking, although distinctions may be awarded to highlight outstanding performances.
Discovery is open to preschool and primary school students. Cycle 1, Cycle 2, Cycle 3
This is a specific feature of RoboCupJunior in France, which has no equivalent at supranational levels.
