In July 2025, the Trustees (board members of the RoboCup International Federation) decided to refocus all “Soccer” leagues around the “2050 goal” (*) and, consequently, to discontinue all non-humanoid leagues (Middle Size, Small Size, and Simulation) and encourage them to collaborate more closely with the humanoid and standard platform teams.
Non-humanoid competitions may continue to be organized:
— at the international level until 2027
— at local, national, and super-regional levels for as long as organizers wish and as long as teams remain active in these leagues
